Following the launch of the national Boy Scouts of America’s new marketing campaign: Scout Me In, the organization made several assets available. To expand the collection to fit our local campaigns, I created several additional assets to use. I incorporated and mirrored the branding from the national BSA, including using a similar font and treatment, without having a brand guide available. To do this, I conducted research and compared existing graphics with potential fonts, found a similar font and made adjustments in Illustrator to the stems, crossbars, ascenders and descenders in the font to make a close match. I also retouched a photo from the national BSA to add emphasis to select areas in Photoshop.
