Assignment:
I was tasked with creating a poster to raise awareness ahead of an event held at Marymount University to honor the 50th anniversary of the Selma March. I selected a photo that captured the emotion and passion at the event while tying to a familiar figure- a priest- to draw connection back to the students. To create this, I enhanced the original image then layered in a logo lockup and key event details in the corners.
